Stop the Violence Walk/Run for Peace (Milwaukee)

Northwest Side CDC and their resident leaders will host a Stop the Violence: Walk/Run for Peace. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic; crime, murder, domestic violence, reckless driving, and hit and run incidences have increased to over 100% in the City of Milwaukee. The organizers want to bring the community together to provide resources and solutions to improve the quality of life for our residents on the North Side of Milwaukee.

The Walk/Run for Peace will take place on Saturday, September 10. Registration will start at 8:30 a.m. and the Walk/Run will start promptly at 9 a.m. The meeting location for the Walk/Run will be located at the Century City Building, 4201 N. 27th St., Milwaukee. Resources will be available before and after the event. Rain Date for the Walk/Run will be Saturday, September 17.

Please register using this link. This is a "Free Event" but participants must register for a T-shirt. The route is also handicap accessible. Free parking will be available on site as well.
