The mission of Prevent Suicide Wisconsin is to reduce the number of suicides that take place in our state each year. To accomplish this, we will increase public awareness of suicide and mental illness, the warnings signs of those who might be in crisis, and methods for suicide prevention through education, information and collaboration with all who are affected by suicide and mental illness - which is our entire state.

Conferecne Program Being Planned

For this year's conference, we are planning a conference booklet for attendees to keep. In this booklet we would like to have a calendar of events - April 2012 - April 2013. Do you do an annual walk or planning one for the first time? Do you hold other events like a dance or community forums? Please submit your coalition or organizational information for your upcoming events along with a contact person's phone number and email address. Even if you don't have the exact date, but know what month you usually hold your event, that's ok, too.  We hope that this will help each of us keep track of each other, help us promote your event on the website - and promote collaboration and sharing of ideas among the coalitions. If you have any questions, please contact Debi Traeder. In order to meet printing deadlines, please submit your events and programs by February 20.
